GMC is the commercial vehicle division of General Motors. GMC is taken from the first letter of its English name: General Motro Corporation. General Motors is number one among the 500 largest companies in the United States and number two among the world's largest industrial companies. With 800,000 employees in the United States and around the world in 40 countries, the GM family produces a total of 9 million vehicles annually.
